Ireland vs Ukraine: prediction for the Nations League match

Irelandnational team managed to keep a Group B spot in the previous edition of the Nations League. Irish side finished higher than Wales, Bulgaria and Finland. Team failed to advance into the 2022 World Cup.

The Boys in Green have recorded only two victories throughout the qualifying tournament, finishing at the 3rd spot with nine points in the asset. In the first round of the current competition The Greens have suffered an unexpected defeat to Armenia (0:1). 

One year ago, Ukraine national team surprised everyone with their performance at Euro 2020. Getting past the group stage, the Yellow-Blues edged Sweden in the round of 16 thanks to a last-minute goal, but failed to beat England in the next round. 

Oleksandr Petrakov's men earned two victories and six draws in the 2022 World Cup qualifying circle, finishing 2nd in the group. In the first match of the knock-out stage team secured an away victory over Scotland (3:1), but in the final round team suffered a defeat to Wales (0:1).
